An alternative to single use Cling wrap. This set of six different sized moulded food wraps will keep your food fresher longer- minimising food waste. Easy to use with tabs to grip onto they fit on round, rectangular and square containers, half used fruits and veg, salad bowls, dinner plates and more!
Use this set of wraps as an alternative to plastic/saran wrap.
These wraps are heat resistant and can also be used as a grip to open jars or as a trivet for hot dishes.
Stretch your silicone until taught and wrap over any bowl or plate and store in the refrigerator or on the bench. Our wraps form an air tight seal which keeps your food staying fresher for longer. Perfect for bowls, dishes, plates, cans, jars and mugs.
Clean and dry thoroughly after each use.
What I’m made from: Platinum silicone. Silicone is made from the silica found in sand which makes it a resilient, long lasting alternative to plastic that has similar properties to glass.
How to use me: Use me as a replacement for single use cling wrap and plastic containers.
How to keep me clean: I can go in the dishwasher but will last longer if you hand wash me.
How to keep me safe: Please be gentle as I may break if overstretched or pierced with a sharp object. I’m pretty resilient and can go in the microwave and freezer.
How to dispose of me: I should last years if looked after. At the end of my life span I can be returned to Big Bite Eco, put into your recycling bin (check if your council recycles silicone) or taken to a commercial recycling facility.
